Here are some recipes I've picked up while in Australia. People keep making tasty looking things at hostels and I have too many tabs open on my phone looking them up. So now I can just write them here!
In a large cooking pan, sauté onion, garlic, tomato. When tomato becomes soft, put in ground beef and pork. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes. Pour in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and raisins. Stir and cover pan, simmer for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove cover and add green peas. Cook for 5 - 8 minutes in low/medium heat. Arrange in individual plates with steamed rice, fried bananas, and fried eggs.
Bring 1 litre of water to boil in pot. Add tomatoes and onions, cook for 2 minutes. Add radish and cook for another 2 minutes. Add the shrimp. Once the shrimp turns pink, add Sinigang mix. Simmer for about 2 minutes. Add beans followed by okra and pepper. Bring back to a boil, cook for 2 minutes. Season with fish sauce and add eggplant. Cook for a minute, then add water spinach. Push leaves down gently until submerged, simmer for another minute. Transfer to serving bowls while hot and serve with rice.
Dump spaghetti and sardines into pot and heat on medium/low heat. Stir frequently. Once hot, add seasonings to taste. For best experience, eat straight from the pot.
